Melissa Danenhauer is one of those special individuals that once you meet her, you decide that you want to be her best friend. She is the perfect combination of humility, flare and strength. CorVive seems to attract these types of people, folks from all walks of life, but with similar core values: to love, serve and care. Being the competitor that Melissa is, she started out CorVive Transformation League not wanting to be out done by anyone including her brother. After just a couple of weeks using CorVive’s world class products, she realized that she had, in fact, stumbled onto something she had been looking for, but had no idea it was right in front of her. And did we mention Mellisa Danenhauer is down 76 pounds?! The CorVive Transformation League had just began and Melissa had decided that she was all in, and by all in we mean the champion inside her was unleashed. Couple that passion for the products with a strong entrepreneur acumen and you have a winning combination. She wasn’t just going to up her workout game, she was going to share this amazing opportunity with everyone she loved and through that, she created a rocking CorVive business. Some might call it an overnight success, but she will tell you it took some work. But this time…work was on her schedule, she left a CorVive event and caught fire! As she became more and more involved in CorVive, she knew she could help people while participating at a high level in the health and wellness arena. If you asked her what her favorite workout is she would say strength training, running and spin class—and it shows. Next on her list of things to do is lose a little more weight while toning and building muscle and we have no doubt that she will cross that finish line successfully as well. As founder Jeremy Fouts put it, “people like Melissa are the type of people you want to surround yourself with. You become the five people you hang around most, so if you’re hanging around people like Melissa—you’re in good company.”
Growing up in rural Oklahoma, adventure usually meant using a lot of imagination. Your siblings were usually your running mates, most of the time it was all good fun, until your older brother talks you into jumping a ramp like Evel Knievel - I ended up going through our grandmothers’ windshield. Being number 3 of 4 boys, I grew up watching my older brothers play ball and of course I wanted to play too. There are many great benefits to being involved in sports. Physical activity, learning strategy, how to work with others and most importantly, how to push yourself. These are all lessons or benefits that we can start to learn at a young age that help us to navigate life. Working as a team is a fun, exciting time as well as frustrating. You have to learn what your personal strengths and weaknesses are along with everyone else’s on the team. However, that is valued information and opportunity that you can use to better develop yourself and most importantly how to help your teammates better and develop themselves. CorVive Transformation League is just that for CorVive. A team-based competition where we can all work on transforming into the best person we can be mentally, physically, and emotionally. June 17th, ushers in the inaugural CTL 45-day season where teams will play each other each Sunday and earn spots like Player of the Week, Coach of the Week, Season MVP and 1 team will earn the coveted grand prize of a weekend experience like no other. Competing is easy if you want to be a coach, find nine other like-minded people who want to compete with you. Or, you can join us as a free agent and find out which coach drafts you to their team on June 15th. Check out www.corvive.com/ctl for more details or to register. My goal for CorVive will always be to love, serve and to care about others. But who says we can’t have fun while doing it?
