Week 5 RECAP:

A Showdown to the End, The CorVive Transformation League Continues to Push Participants Beyond Their Goals With the final week of official CTL play upon us, week five contributed some of the most outstanding matchups of the season. It is clear that all of these amazing teams are going to compete to the end, ensuring that their team is on its way to a CTL Championship. This week, like most others, started off with a bang. Lining up against each other during the opener was the Trash Pandas vs the Razorbacks. Both teams have experienced amazing winning streaks dotted with a handful of losses, but overall they were equally matched and started things off in a hurry. The previous coach of the week Sherry Klander engaged in some light-hearted trash talk while Bonnie Connelly kept chipping away at the goal line. Eventually, it was the Razorbacks that walked away with a win going 48-35 against the Trash Pandas. A special shout-out of the week goes to the Yard Goats. They continue to follow their coach, Monique DeCourt in their weekly attitudes. The team is electrifying, positive, and energetic. New to the league this season, this team is demonstrating what the CTL is all about. Their plan is to keep on maintaining a can-do attitude and keep stretching week after week to move toward a championship ring. Evenly matched this week was the OU Sooners and the Armadillos, both teams headed by amazing coaches. Their scoring cards were very balanced and turned out to be a close one to call. Eventually, the Armadillos pulled ahead for a final score of 26-18. There are a few teams that if you even mention their name, it gives the competition a little anxiety. The Bobcats are one of those teams (two teams officially). Coach Laura Brent knows when to push and help her team get the most positive experience possible from the CTL, leading her to win after win with her Bobcats. This week they played the incredible Rebels coached by Tracy Grimes, she herself an incredible coach that is always in the trenches leading her team by example. Next, we had the Bandits and the Sod Poodles showing up for an evenly matched event. Both coaches put their best on the field and the close score showed their efforts, with a final tally of 57-50 and the win going to the Bandits. Another highlight of this week was a fan favorite between coach Joe Myers of the Crusaders and coach Richard Hinkle of the Spartans. Battling through injury, sickness, and calamity nothing stood in the way of these two teams, moving through to the end, with an amazing final score of 59.29 to 60.73. Congratulations Joe. Also, congratulations to Richard Hinkle his amazing showing included one of his team members (Tiffany Graves) going down 6” and 6 lbs in one week! Other close calls went to the Brumbies vs the Gladiators, both being consistent in their product regimen and workouts. Their final [...]
